Synopsis
A detective story based on Cine Noir style, characterized by “B” films of the 40’s and the 50’s which the lack of character and the crime are the most present marks.
Detective Bill Arrow’s office is sought by Miss Velda, a “fatal woman” whose “intimate underwear” was stolen and will pay any amount to get it back. What seemed like a banal crime gives rise to a series of other violent crimes, where everyone is a suspect until proven otherwise, or until their bodies are found in some dark alley.
Inspired by the life and works of Dashiell Hammett, considered the father of modern police literature, the show uses a puppet construction technique less-known in Brazil, starting from models developed by Hansjügern Fettig in his book “Rod Puppets & Table Top Puppets (Standing figures)”. The scenography was inspired by the German Expressionism, an artistic movement that contributed to the rise of Cine Noir.
